Admiration

With this series I want the view to remember the time when they were children.  Our childhood was a time  when we wanted to be just like mom and dad.  We wanted to play with Daddy's tools and Mommy's make up. They were our role models.  When I look at my niece and  nephews, I think about how different their way of playing is to the way my siblings and I played as children.  But just like my generation, the new generations also want to be like Mommy and Daddy or even Aunt and Uncle.

For this series, I am photographing my subjects up close and from an angle that makes them appear larger than what they are, or from a child's point of view. This is a first for me, as I like to photograph from a distance and with a wider angle.
